How do we reserve our date?
A non-refundable retainer of $200 along with a signed contract is required to secure your wedding date.
Do you have insurance for your services?
Yes, we have business liability insurance.
What’s the filmmaking process like?
First, we want to get to know you and learn your story. In doing so, we can create a film that is the most authentically you that it can be. Since each of our films are carefully handcrafted, we limit our production number each year. This gives us the time to ensure that we are able to focus whole-heartedly on the occasion at hand. Collections are generally tailored to the individual, but a typical approach is to have full-day coverage (8 hours) with two cinematographers.
When will we be able to see our wedding film?
Digital processing takes approximately 8-12 weeks.
Will you be filming our wedding or will it be someone else?
All of our weddings are filmed by either Patrick or Sarah, and many times both! If we need an assistant, we may bring a third person along, too.
Can we provide our own music to feature in the background of the video?
We’re more than happy to take suggestions. However, unless it is something extremely important to you, we cannot guarantee that we will use it. It all comes down to what is legal. Just like paying taxes, buying the license to music is so important to keep us in standing with Federal copyright laws. We have a few online sources (Sound Stripe, Triple Scoop Music, and Marmoset Music) where we license most of our music and they're all outstanding!
Do you offer wedding photography?
While we love photographing little newborns, engagements, and growing families, video is our preferred medium when it comes to capturing weddings! If you really, really want us to photograph your big day and/or want to see examples of our wedding photography, just ask!
